Welcome to P.E.O. Chapter TF
P.E.O. Mission
The mission statement for P.E.O. is to celebrate, educate, and motivate.
P.E.O. is a philanthropic organization where women: CELEBRATE the advancement of women, EDUCATE women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College, and, MOTIVATE each other to achieve their highest aspirations.
This can be accomplished successfully as we shine like stars in the universe with a positive attitude and serve each day with gladness.
P.E.O. Chapter TF
Our chapter TF began in 1972 and draws members from several areas including Mission Viejo, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente, and Lake Forest. We are an active group meeting the first Tuesday of every month at the Laguna Niguel City Hall. Our social time begins at 9:30 am followed by a program and then our general meeting. The program is open to our guests, but the meetings are for members only.
Our programs are varied each month. Some of the programs have included speakers from Casa Teresa, Home for pregnant women in crisis; Women’s Health concerns presented by Mission Hospital; Transforming your garden into a humming bird oasis; learning the country two-step; cartooning; and What’s My stuff worth presented by Marina Diamon and Watch
Our chapter has fund raising events where guests are welcome. Each year Macy’s hosts our fashion show providing a delicious continental breakfast and prizes. We also have social events such as bingo, a holiday luncheon with a holiday market featuring handmade gifts to win, and much more. All these events help us to raise money for the P.E.O. scholarships and grants. This year, our chapter contributed over $15,000 to the various funding programs.
